I got in a little late and had to load in on the PC but I still managed to find a few dancers and got some cowbell rolling from it! 😀

Needs more cowbell. Always. I wonder if the PC crowd overall was a bit fewer, as D1 vets hold group dancing close to their hearts and many are on console to this day. That would be an interesting statistic!

D1 definitely felt like more people were willing to group up for odd things. I could pretty easily get a duck walk line going around the tower. Just squat down and slowly walk around. It wouldn't be long before you had 1 or 2 others in line behind you and that's about what it would take to fire it up and start gathering a bunch of guardians crouched down and following in a single file line. 😎 Probably the coolest instance I ever saw was when I loaded in and saw a single file line forming in front of the Cryptarch. Looked funny so I got in line and 'waited my turn'. Some random comes in and heads straight up to him to immediately be met with everybody else bagging him for 'cutting in line'. After about 3 bags he saw his mistake and ran to the back of the line. Once the person dealing with him was done he/she would move off to the side and the line would move up to the next person. Was ridiculously stupid but hilarious at the same time. That's why I would've rather have been on the console but I didn't have it accessible. As you said, a decent amount of us still play on console now.

Oh man. Tower shenanigans were the absolute best! I tried doing the same thing (line) at banshee 44 in D2 the other day. Didn't pan out lol
