I’m a day one Destiny 1, a day one Destiny 2 player, and here’s where I get off.
At least now Bungie will have to stop pretending that it was Activision forcing them to charge top dollar for measly content that you play through in three hours. (And no, adding an extra package of forty dollar a year seasonal fetch quests isn’t content.)
So, enough.
But, I won’t say good bye. It is likely that someday you may find me here again, traveling between worlds, still bearing the light, and rising with the Nine.
Till then, good luck to all of you, my fellow guardians.

Activision was part of D2 vanilla. Let that sink in.

Both Activision and Bungie have independently stated that Activision had no directing force over D2's design and gameplay at any time. Bungie leadership made those decisions.

And they also helped right the ship with Forsaken. Mistakes happen. I honestly don't think Activision knew how bad the end game was gonna be in yr1

I still laugh at all the Rambos today who were mad back at release that people played as a group in team-based PvP. "There's too much team-shooting, I can't charge ahead with my shotgun and ape everyone!"
