Bioshock Rapture

One of the contributing factors for Raptures downfall, a godless city, was Gods children Adam and Eve... The irony 🤔
I may be late on this but I am FINALLY reading the Bioshock Rapture book and I am absolutely loving it! I am now thinking of the games and Bioshock universe more critically which makes the games even better. If you love the Bioshock games or if you are wanting to pay then I HIGHLY recommend reading it, especially if you havent play the games yet. Bioshock: Rapture by John Shirley.
• Loved playing the original Bioshock. Wish it was longer sometimes.

I’ve played bioshock 1-3 dozens of times each 100%, and I’ve never noticed this, thank you for pointing it out. The funny thing is that Adam was named “ADAM” Becuase it was a life changing or “new beginning” to ones “new” modified Genetics, at the same time people were “playing god” creating the big daddies to start a chain of production for Adam, use it to change yourself (for better or worse), then when you die you have the little sister come and suck you clean of the valuable DNA changing essence that is Adam. all the while rapture was a place of free will, free from the mental oppression of religion, and physical oppression of Kings and government, yet the same human vices followed humanity to the bottom of the sea. In story or myth, humans are just as easily corrupted no matter where they are, even the bottom of the sea. Glad to see a fellow bioshock enthusiast in this forum as well :)
