Yes... it will be a lot... especially when paired with Adept weapon mods... Not Forgotten being 100 times better than Luna’s during their prime by just having a higher range stat is a prime example...

What were they thinking giving Adept weapons slightly stronger stats? Even the reduced handling is too OP.

I mean if you don’t see the advantage it gives it really just lets everyone know the caliber of player you are.. I’ll be here to tell ya I told you so.. and when you start getting bodied by Adept guns remember... the stat doesn’t matter...

Adept back up mag is +10 higher than normal back up mag and comes with reduced handling. Nothing about the Adept weapons is overpowered. Shows what caliber of person you if you think that it does. It won’t make a huge difference.

Plus +3 extra to range means less drop off and better aim assist. They stated a range mod... that’s even more... having someone be able to kill you from further out with practically THE SAME weapon is a HUGE advantage... Then again you casuals that stick to 6s and barely perform in 3s wouldn’t get it... There is a reason people scrap any shotgun without range masterwork or accurized rounds...

Astral has a range cap like all other shotguns/weapons. Nothing about the Adept weapons is OP.

*Sigh* A Summoner with +10 range... An Astral that can have full choke AND still keep max range. Who knows if they’ll bring back Jewel of Osiris and then we’ll have a Handcannon that can get unmatched stats... Again.. not only is it unnecessary since the players getting them can handle themselves... but it’ll just invalidate the regular version.

Nothing about them will be OP. They will be worthy rewards for trials and GM ordeals(coming season 13). They won’t invalidate the normal ones when you get 1-3 chances every two weeks with rng. I should also add that there might be only one or two week out of a season where astral is available.
