Horrible idea if it's exclusive to Top Tier PvP or Raid players:
They need to do it for each type of activity.
Hardest challenges for each would make the best since for PvE.
For example, they could be rewards for master and Grandmaster nightfalls.

So doing something like whisper of the worm quest solo should give a better loot than doing it with a full fire team since it's easier with a full fireteam?

Kinda, yeah. Maybe something more not necessary better. Say like the reward is a weapon. But solo the weapon catalyst drops as well as the weapon. Idk, I have thought this for a few things. Like completing Petra's Run should award 1k. Flawless Raids should be a guaranteed drop. So on that note, solo runs should also reward a little more than an emblem (which is cool, not saying the emblems are bad).

Bungie already confirmed that they are bringing Adept weapons into Nightfalls in season 13. Raids are way to easy and so are GM Nightfalls when you compre them to a Trials Flawless. So sadly even the biggest PvE noob will have Adept weapons. But still better GM Nightfalls than a Raid, since there is no point in doing GMs after you get the Conqueror title.

1: GM nightfalls might be easy, once you're actually up to power to play them. That takes time and dedication. So no, I don't believe even the biggest pve noob will have adept weapons. 2: Raids are definitely easy in comparison to a trials flawless, but it is still the pinnacle of pve activities. It takes coordination, effort, and strategy. Again, not something I think a huge pve noob will be doing, unless they're getting carried, which is a problem with trials too. 3: Getting an adept weapon from a raid or strike will never be comparable to getting an adept trials weapon. The stat increase and the mods are what make them different, but the real point of an adept trials weapon is that it acts as a status symbol. You equip one, and you're saying, "I'm probably better than half of everyone in this lobby at pvp." You will never get that from pve adepts. If your "status symbol" is "hey guys I'm amazing at pve" the response will always be "so, what?" Because pve is pathetically easy in this game. Not like giving pve adept weapons will ruin the value of the trials ones.

1) GM ordeals have the modifier that caps your level off. For example, in order to access this season’s GM ordeal you need to be 1075. The ordeal will cap your level at 1075 when inside of it so that the difficulty remains the same for everyone no matter light. 2) PvP doesn’t have consistent difficulty. Some people will find it really easy and others won’t. 3) Definitely true. Adept weapons are more of a status thing than anything else. Won’t stop a few people on this thread from complaining about them though.
