It has a indicator in the bottom left...
That's pretty visable when aiming down site

I'm aware of that, and that is entirely NOT the issue. Good job missing the point entirely.

I really didn't. You did not mention the effect icon at all. That's as much as a visual indicator you need. The gun glowing would help but when you have a clearly visable icon, not necessary. Plus most people automatically assume unstoppable on pulse rifles is immediately on. It takes a second or two.
