Do you have any "New Light" quests in your quests inventory? Post-Shadowkeep, new characters will be given a New Light quest line. One of the steps during that quest will involve visiting Ada-1 for the machine gun frame. Likely you started that quest and haven't finished it. If you haven't I would strongly urge you to finish the full New Light quest as it has many steps in it that unlock content such as the Forges.

I do not and i believe I already did that quest line as well, I will have to check up with Banshee to see if I accidentally abandoned the quest line >.o

If you have any New Light quests that haven't been completed then yes, you need to work through them, especially if you wish to access the Forges. If you abandoned any of the New Light quests you should be able to pick them up again. But bottom line is you need to complete those introductory quests to insure you don't end up with various activities locked behind a requirement you haven't met yet.
