Ehy Epix =) You're right: this should be how things work. Refresh every tot months and possibility to buy directly what we want from Vendors. The reason why I didn't propose this is because since the launch of D2, when we realized that the Tokens/Materials system wasn't the most excting option, we -the Community- asked for this. Hundreds of thread were opened about it. However, after years, Bungie didn't nothing. In my opinion, it's quite clear that they don't want to bring things back as they were before and they prefer to push on systems that have some kind of RNG layer. Or, maybe, they simply can't for some technical reason that I ignore. I don't know, I'm just speculating. Anyway, in these last Seasons, we had different systems to obtain our loot: Menagerie, Sandial and now Umbral Engrams. Bungie keep changing things, but there is always some similar elements. I really doubt that things are going back as we knew them. Of course, I hope to be wrong, but... maybe a better option, for now, is to find a sort of middle ground. I think that Focusing Umbral Engrams are something like that. The 50% of something is always better then the 100% of nothing.
