It's simply a huge nerf. Bungie is so afraid of that power creep fairy tale.

Power creep isn't a fairy tale, it is a very real problem in some games. Just, not Destiny 2.

Well yeah maybe I was not precise enough. Of course you are right. My statement was of course for destiny. In other games there are such problems. But like you said not in destiny. D2 can't be more far away from power creep. Especially since Powerlevel is nothing else but a door opener for activities.

Edited by SluggardCave771: 7/16/2020 10:28:42 AM
Bungie is so afraid of that power creep fairy tale.
So Afraid that they are already adding the same weapons to the new loot pool with a Pacman logo in the corner, and an updated expire date. They did the math, and figured the only way to maintain the MAU numbers is to get everyone to start the grind over. Cheaper then creating new weapon from the ground up. just slap new logo on the old one and call it a day. The logo was already created for the season so ZERO cost in changing it on old weapons. Leaves more money for Christmas Bonus.

Exactly. Expected nothing else. Still there are some let's say "naive folks" that still believe in sunsetting. It's not even that sunsetting done right would be that bad it's more the way bungie is doing it. Sometimes I wonder how often some people need to be tricked to realise that they have been tricked?
