If you wanted to change something about controls you could have made sprint auto and everyone would have been happier than this crazy custom shit that doesn’t even make sense.

@dmg04 Obviously I’ve noticed the sprint issue but there’s also an ADS issue that I’ve been experiencing, too. I use a wired Razer Raiju controller with trigger stops and hair trigger enabled. In all other seasons and pre-update this wasn’t an issue but now I can’t ADS or if I do then it flickers and jumps between the ADS animation and not ADS-ing. Is there going to be a fix for this too? Something that wasn’t broken before is suddenly now broken 🙃

Please make this fix a priority and please advise when a fix will be available. Thank you. Having a guardian’s sprint cancelled mid fight is ludicrous and gets guardians killed. This issue requires immediate attention.

Hi dmg04. Where is this sprint fix? I've tried all I can to revert the controller commands back to the default setting since D1...but it is extremely tiring and VERY VERY DIFFICULT to keep the pressure consistent on the left thumbstick. I cannot play this game, with these settings.

When I use the Toggle Sprint I start Break Dancing without an emote and then fall off the edge .... LOL Thanks mate. Tried that one too.

I design and test industrial software for a living on public infrastructure and chemical plants. If I was to act how Bungie does with their testing I’d at least be fired and at worst kill lots of people. Bungie, seriously for all that good in the world get professional testers on your software releases, hell, call me and I can set up a team to do it for you and we will find the bugs your unimaginative testers can’t. Love the game, bought Beyond Light but these “unintentional faults” is making the game suffer.

Beyond the issues being caused with things like elite controllers. What do you think needed more testing?

They've been using the phrase "flip a switch" since D1. I know it's D2, but it still applies. Just like "working as intended" does. These are phrases Bungie has used since 2014. Possibly before that, but I've only been here since 2014.

Just tossing in my two cents here because I haven’t seen anyone else articulate what exactly seems messed up with sprint (sorry if you did any I missed it). I think the issue is the toggle sprint option. Before, I would tap the sprint stick/button and my guardian would start sprinting. If I tap the sprint button again, my guardian would just keep sprinting. I would do this a lot, almost unconsciously, because I wasn’t sure if a tight turn or a jump had just cancelled my sprint, and I wanted to make sure I kept sprinting. Now, when I tap that button to make sure I keep sprinting, half the time I’m deactivating my sprint instead. I think there should be an option to simply activate sprint affirmatively, not toggle it. Or perhaps give the option to separate the sprinting on and off. If I want to stop sprinting, I’ll stop moving forward, slide, ADS, or do something else to cancel my sprint. I don’t want to be able to deactivate it the same way I activate it.

Put it back till you have a fix you can’t play like this I’ve shut it off till you fix it . Your fixes take to long . Sorry but every season you brake game without testing. Don’t say you test or this stuff wouldn’t get to us as players
