With Trials of Osiris back, trials of the nine gear should be added to the reckoning pool, maybe as a “Master” difficulty so it doesn’t flood everything.
Edit: I’m not talking about the current trials gear shown in the trailers right now. I’m referring to Trials of the Nine, the white/bluish gear/weapons that came out year 1 of D2
Maybe also allow the ornaments to be obtainable through some means as well? Like, putting in a mixture of 10 motes each synth and its consumed if you succeed or not

As a Guardian who never had the opportunity to play trials of the nine, i would like to at least be able to get the TOTN look in the reckoning. I won't mind if an opportunity to get TOTN comes next or in a future season. Bungie you've done an amazing job even with current issues with covid. I would appreciate it this comment was looked at even if itsnota good idea.

40 RepliesI'll give feedback that you would like the Trials of the Nine gear to return from a new drop source and mention Reckoning as a suggested source. Feel free to add any additional suggestions on this topic. thanks.

Reckoning should drop Trials Of The Nine weapons Current Reckoning weapons should be renamed or re-classed as "Gambit Prime weapons"
-
I'd like that, honestly. I have a couple of weapons from then, but... ya, wouldn't mind seeing the gear come back in a different loot pool
-
You can apply the trials of the nine ornaments to the trials of Osiris gear. But getting it from reckoning would be awesome as well!

1 Reply<I think Trials armor and weapons should drop in Reckoning, but leave Flawless ornaments as just that, and make them usable for whatever variant drops in Reckoning (armor can be reworked into ornaments). That way we casuals can get our hands on the gear we missed out on, but those who went Flawless back in the day can keep their visual status as that.>

6 RepliesOk ok hows about this Give Xur weapon bounties as well as season bounties Weapon bounties can be like Complete a tier 3 reckoning run get 200 kills with (weapon) They are worth 5000 glimmer and 10 legendary shards random roles can be given out to these weapons as well as possible new perk to fit in and shake the weapons up. A consumable can be handed out on Xur that will give you a drop of trials of the nine armour after a tier 3 completion of reckoning but its worth 20 legendary shards.

Bump!

3 RepliesEdited by Synocracy: 3/14/2020 8:12:29 AMI made a post about this when reckoning first dropped. It was upvoted into the top 3 on the forums for like a week. But a lot of people argued “no just no” bc they “earned that” a year ago and even with armor 2.0 for some reason it’s special. Edit: After reading some of the comments I’m just SMH. NOBODY CARES THAT YOU EARNED IT 2 YEARS AGO. It’s irrelevant now. Literally zero clout behind having a trials of the nine set. Get over it.

1 ReplyHow about get rid of reckoning period and make everything match make.....

Agreed. Give reckoning a bit more of incentive.

2 RepliesPut the old Nine themed gear in the Reckoning and have the Gambit Prime gear available as bounties you can purchase for Synths. Buy bounty > Play Prime > Complete bounty > Buy new bounty with Synths gained in Prime More bounties, but it would at least let you farm a specific weapon whenever you wanted. Also, let the old REGULAR ornaments drop as possible rewards when you complete the Reckoner seal. I think that's a significant enough investment.

All they had to do was make them universal ornaments. Hell, most of the armor sets should be universal ornaments.

2 RepliesReckoning Tier 4?

Since people keep mentioning Xur here, why not have him carry Trials of the Nine bounties for the Trials of the Nines gears or weapons. Wouldn't that make more sense than Gambit?
-
13 RepliesOr have Xûr have bounties for them or some way to obtain them. You know, with him being An Agent of The Nine and not just another useless NPC vendor 🤦♂️

I just want to be able to turn my tokens in. My team isn't getting many wins and three on a single card has only ever happened once. I don't expect easy loot, but I should be able to turn in the tokens from the matches I actually play
-
As someone who grinded the set (and some of the ornaments) i would love this.
-
They are trials ornaments now
-
Well I got a decent amount of the weapons and still use darkest before I agree with this. This gear was in the game since launch why is it no longer obtainable?
-
I’d love to see trials of the nine tbh. Reckoning play spaces would be pretty neat to do PvP. Especially that first area where you gotta prove your dominance to progress. It has good dynamics on the map with plenty of high and low areas. Perhaps with a couple barricades and whatnot that area would be perfect.

3 RepliesApparently you can put the Nine ornaments on Osiris gear

I just Wana say that almost after a year, or year.. I still don't have the collector helmet that is missing in my collection to complete the seal. For some reason just don't drop and I've no idea why after so many collector bounties completed.. 🤦♂️ That's actualy a good idea, but that's a lot of work for bungie, not to mention that even if they do that, they probably gona fk up the loot and the mode some how. Ps: Please bungie, just give the freaking notorious collector helmet, or at least solve this bug, or whatever it's going on with my account! It's a pain in the ass, do reckoning t3 atm.. Ty..

8 RepliesI think what Bungie should do is remove Reckoning all together. Take all the loot from that including armor, and put it into Gambit Prime. Make Gambit Prime's reward offerings contingent on what you do in the match. This is already a thing but they can expand on it to account for the armor. I.e. If you invade a lot and are successful with your invasions (you get x amount of kills) at the end of the match you are awarded a piece of invader armor. Slaying out? Get Reaper gear. Etc. Reckoning was cool at the time but it really was just padding for Season of the Drifter to create this reward loop that is no longer necessary. Bungie has already stated that at some point there will be only one Gambit Mode, and they should also just remove Reckoning as well. They could use that additional memory/data space to create newer content down the road.
