Idea for Trials to Be Really Engaging | Community Brianstorm

IF it comes back, something like this would be awesome to add depth to the mode. I feel like it would create a more immersive experience, while also ensuring weapons balance/fair fights. * Have dedicated trials weapons/gear for use in the game mode. This controls for balance. * Trials weapons come with static rolls, with perks that can be unlocked like Rose. They're great feeling / good weapons that aren't OP. No damage dealing perks. * However, have a special slot for exclusive Trials mods that unlock special perks for PVE game modes. This makes them special in other content. * Choose a Path- when players first visit the Trials * IntellectNPC (Osiris or the Emissary), players choose 1 primary Trials weapon and 1 special Trials weapon. This allows players to choose a specific team role. * All weapons start out as Greens, and can be upgraded over time from Blues to Legendary versions. With tokens and other mode specific materials. * Trials gear works the same way, you're given a basic set of gear that you upgrade over time like the season of triumph gear. How might we improve upon the idea? I'd love to hear people's ideas, and I will edit the post to include them as we go. Hopefully we can spark some ideas for the dev team! Community Additions: *Format like original Trials Of Osiris, 9 card win or 7 card win with Boons. * Game mode is Elimination Or Survival. Maybe rotating? *To start, bring back versions of old Trials of Osiris and Trials of the Nine armor and weapons as loot, along with new weapons. *Over time, release brand new weapons and gear. Re-using the old stuff to start will take less dev resources.
