Banned for Absolutely No Reason.

I logged onto Destiny, which I had installed the previous day. I then went and played a strike and earn some rewards. I noticed my team members had very good aim and were lagging around a bit, I just thought they were very good or just laggy. My game freezes and I am then informed I am banned on Destiny 2. I have done absolutely nothing wrong and I was banned. This company does not offer very good support or contact methods so I had nowhere else to dispute this invalid ban but here. I am just enquiring on why am I banned and what can be done for this ban to be revoked.

  • Your account was banned on Nov 11th when a application created specifically for the purpose of injecting code into other running processes was detected directly targeting the Destiny 2 process. The data leading to your ban has been reviewed and your punishment will not be overturned. Threats. Begging. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. There is NO course of action to appeal any punishment issued. They WILL NOT lessen or remove any punishment issued for any reason. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon. Intentionally or not your account broke the rules. Ignorance of the rules doesn't exempt you from them. Your account is done. There is literally nothing you can do about it. So your only two options are to buy the content again or move on. If you pray hard enough maybe just maybe the monkey that runs the BNGSecurity account will care enough to give you an extremely vague reason as to why a punishment was issued. The chances of that happening are slim to none. Here's some examples of other kids who "did nothing wrong" that the BNGSecurity account replied to. http://imgur.com/a/jBV3uqq Pick your poison and live with it

  • Nah kid. You don’t get banned because they may have been cheating. You got banned because you were cheating, running a program you shouldn’t have, etc.

    • So what now? I'm just banned.. I did nothing wrong and I can't play Destiny anymore. Weird, a company that brags about banning its players who have done nothing wrong. I can safely say this is a very shitty company if it takes pride in making innocent gamers like me download a 70gb game then banning them for having fun playing a strike in said game, with no third party applications open.

    • Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://twitter.com/Bungie/status/1179836392953675776 <- Most recent info bans and restrictions policy page *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.

Doing something once / 1 time does not lead to a restriction or ban unless you are using code injecting software or cheating in some way also having a bad internet connection. Connection based restrictions or bans you are given a warning about your connection first before any restriction or ban is places. Bungie investigates accounts before they hand out any restrictions or bans. After investigating your account, they found a reason. They will not remove this restriction/ban. On the occasions they do respond, the answer will give a date and a very brief reason which will be one of the following below. 1. Cheating 2. Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, anything that injects code into games. 3. An unstable connection is having an impact on other players.
