Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://twitter.com/Bungie/status/1179836392953675776 <- Most recent info bans and restrictions policy page *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.

 • I apologize but I do not use any software loopholes or cheats to play. I hate this.

 • Bungie's anticheat detected something either in your gameplay or on your rig that it felt it violated the game's policies, it then flagged your account for review, Bungie SRT Staff members then reviewed your account, validated the reason for the flag, confirmed it violated policy, then manually placed the ban.

 • Despite the fact that I spent 3 months digging, I didn’t have any problems. And now, when I began to spend more time in this game, I get a permanent ban. And if on my device, something got into the gameplay without my knowledge, is it fair to immediately give a permanent ban? And you can’t give a chance to prove your innocence?

 • The computer is many years old, and I will not mention everything because of my weak memory.

 •
The computer is many years old, and I will not mention everything because of my weak memory.
That's pretty much an admission that there's questionable software on your rig. Sounds like a warranted ban.

 •
And if on my device, something got into the gameplay without my knowledge, is it fair to immediately give a permanent ban?
Yes, it is fair. If you are not aware of what is running on your rig then you are a danger to the game's eco system.
And you can’t give a chance to prove your innocence?
What innocence? Bungie software detected something against the rules a bungie employee verified the something running was against the rules and then placed the ban. Your only "defense" is to say you did not know something was running, that does not make you innocent as the rule was still broken.

 • The only protection? But given the situation, I consider it not fair that they immediately give a permanent ban. For me, a preventive ban would be an effective measure + instructions to eliminate this claim from the company.

For me, a preventive ban would be an effective measure + instructions to eliminate this claim from the company.
Well, to be blunt.. you do not get to make the policy for other companies. Every banned player is going to state it is unfair, yet these are the terms we all agreed to in order to play their game. While you might see it as a better policy to warn players and work with them to make sure their machines are free of anything that could cause a ban... you fail to consider what a monumental waste of resources that is for a company. The overwhelming majority of banned players know exactly what caused the ban. Spending time working with and warning them just wastes time and resources. The replies I have seen from security are fairly obvious that the player knew what was on their machine at least and most likely knew what it was doing when d2 was running. As you can see here with some of the replies https://imgur.com/a/mdFAQ1A

 • Once again, I apologize, but I do not know what could have caused the ban. And I want to know this reason in full. And I count on the justice of the company. But it seems I'm just a fool. That he spent a lot of his time trying to achieve results. And did not enjoy the game. Nervous, angry at the dishonesty of players who use cheats. He posted reports, but it was not successful. I saw those players who cheat time after time. And I felt bad and offended.

 •
And I want to know this reason in full.
Not gonna happen.
And I count on the justice of the company.
Your faith is severely misplaced
But it seems I'm just a fool.
You said it not me.

 • You take phrases out of context. This is rude of you. Our points of view are different. I understand. But wouldn’t it be upsetting you to pay the money you earned and spend time playing honestly without violating the rules from the very beginning when the game just came out suddenly you get a ban without a single explanation, all your achievements, all your efforts, simply disappeared.

If you got a ban clearly you aren't innocent. Your account broke the rules intentionally or not. Either live with it or move on.

 • Precisely because I wish to go further, I will not give up. If so, just kneeling down at every failure, who will we be like? On rags that just wipe their feet. Is it in vain that the audience of Destiny has been in the game for so many years? Did I just waste time and continue to believe that the game will get better?
