Oh yeah Iron Banner is soooo enjoyable because of Light level advantage. Nothing like obviously out playing your opponent and still losing because of the difference in light level. Light level shouldn't matter in an activity that requires aiming and out smarting a real opponent. Iron banner is literally Light level vs Light level, nothing more.

I actually felt I had a harder time as a 960 than when I was around 920. I was able to melt people as a 920, but kept getting insta-killed as a 960 and had a hard time winning the usual gun battles. It almost felt as if Bungie gave a 'buff' to lower light players.

Yeah that is what it always has been. If you want to be on "equal" footing go into comp or normal crucible?
