Valor rank reset on wrong character
So I was playing Crucible, and I was passively grinding the Tex Mechanica exotic quest for The Chaperone, but the thing is- I started playing on a secondary character, when the quest was only on my primary. So I reset the valor rank on my secondary, oblivious to the fact that the quest won't be completed, and now I'm left with nothing. Is there anything I can do? Is all this progress and grinding for nothing? Can Bungie even help me?

Valor resets are an account achievement. It should still proc as complete for the quest. After resetting it, you may need to log out of your character and back in, but it should still count Hope that helps✌
