Honestly I feel bad for titans
Don’t get me wrong the adjustments to the bottom tree striker’s super were needed, but all of the changes at once as well as disabling one two punch peregrine greaves are rough. I think that titans should have a way to compete with liars handshake hunters in terms of melee damage, and I think that maybe a little reduction to the damage of a one two punch peregrine strike would be the way to go. Other then that I think that the changes to bottom tree striker and the eventual change to oem will be well deserved; however, I also think that you should tie in a buff to an underused titan subclass like code of the missile if possible. Missile titans should definitely do more damage. Personally I think that a direct hit from a missile titan with all of the damage from its aftermath perk should do as much damage as a shot from celestial nighthawk.

1 ReplyI am playing as a Titan, but this weekend changing to Hunter. Titan's bottom tree striker super is poop. Maybe it can last long, but almost a feeling i'm not in a super. The enemy kills me too easy. Also a Striker losses from any other super. Titans are the weakest characters right now. More nerfs, no problem. Just kill all Titans, so there will only be Hunters fighting each other in Crucible.

7 Repliesi dont, they have not 1 but 5 different ways of one shotting people and oem incase you were wonder what those 5 are its 3 shoulder charges a shot shot base melee with the artifact mod and the one shot with magnetic grenade with artifact mod. titans have been the dominante class for a year now and its about time that someone else takes over. -a titan main

It kinda kills the point of it being called trample, you're supposed to be able to run around killing enemies constantly. This won't be as effective if your getting hit while doing so and dying. Even in PvP the health regen wasn't OP, because if the striker was charging toward a group and getting teamed shot or shot by an individual, the health regen stops once he starts taking damage and given how easy it is to put supers down now, it will be garbage. Imagine that a subclass with a roaming super that is supposed to be in melee range with no healing or mitigation of damage. The hunter has dodges, staff deflection/blocking and invisibility while in respective roaming supers. Warlocks can teleport, oh and health on kills in theirs. Who do they have balancing this stuff?! I don't think i've ever heard the complaint about bottom tree being the health on kill. Its only duration players had issue with. They could have left this super alone altogether in PvE and just made it to when killing guardians in crucible you get back less super energy and it would have fixed the extended duration. They could have did same for bottom tree dawnblade. At this rate what will be the difference in using this SUPER not subclass perks, over the top trees?

Titan main here and I agree with what you said. Bottom Tree Striker needed a slight nerf (I main Sentinel). I think all of the proposed changes happening at the same time is too much. I'm wondering if Titans are going to be next to useless again for PvE content, the only thing making them useful is Weapons of Light.

So a super that is super fast to charge, that is easy to land should deal the same damage output as a super that asks you for a critical hit AND an exotic while taking longer to charge ? And people wonders why bungie dont listen to the forums... At most it should do the sqme ammount of dmg as a nova bomb. The super is meant for add clear of tough ennemies like blade barrage. The subclass is great the way it is

Thank you for your support. I’m a hunter main but I really enjoy my titan and missile titan is SO MUCH fun to play yet so unrewarding when it comes to damage dealt. Doing a strength mod based build and spamming their melee ability seems to be the best utilization

50 RepliesSame damage as Celestial? Please no. It doesn't need an exotic, it charges faster than any other super in the game and it's super easy to use. Not to mention Synthoceps will break it even more. Warock only have their Geomags which can't compete with Celestial and now you want Titans to make Warlocks even more useless than they already did with WoL.

8 RepliesTitans have a liars handshake exotic..................it's called peregrine greaves -_-. The one-two punch combo was a bug. And yes thundercrash needs a buff but no it should absolutely not deal more damage than nighthawk. Nighthawk fires the equivalent of 2 three shot golden guns in 1 shot. You're asking for 1 titan super to be stronger than 2 hunter supers. That is the definition of unbalanced. And then titans would get an exotic on top of that. Even if it was equal damage titans would still get an exotic slot. Not trying to shit on titans here, but what you're asking for is simply unfair.
