This new camp meta is bad
Crucible is worse than it ever was it’s to campy and call of duty like. The team fire with scouts is back from the vanilla crucible experience you try to flank and move a shotgun in your face to stop you try fighting them at a distance anymore with 5 scouts pointed and shooting at ur dead. It’s to slow paced and is not that fun anymore. I loved trying to get in the crucible and playing yes trying because ever since season of opulence I have been getting beaver errors and more and bungie you keep saying it’s my isp. My isp checked everything and I’m not getting any of the issues you guys say are for the errors.

here we are...well over half way through the season and its still pulses and scouts...not just for randy's but people using randy's like it's going out of style...540pulses replaced HC's at least on PC...there is no bullet spread like console and strafing/crouch shooting doesn't really cause a burst to miss unless they just miss the whole thing but if they land 1bullet all 3/4 are landing. Almost every one rolls with killclip or rampage which are much easier to get safely from range...if you proc'd KC or Rampage on a HC chances are you lost 1/2 or better of your health in the process even against a potato using a scout/pulse. Outside of IB I haven't TOUCHED crucible this expansion besides comp. Grinded out 5500 that was it...if it weren't for the enhanced mods and stat roll armor in IB I wouldn't play that no skill cancer either. Got the ones I wanted now I'll be enjoying borderlands 3 and red dead until next season when the SLOW CAMPY HANDHOLDING D2Y1 cancer meta is over.

Sorry man. I just got the catalyst for the Jade Rabbit and of course you can only work on the catalyst in the crucible. Jade Rabbit catalyst and Rhandy's throwing knife are on bungie.

Its no different than everyone going for revoker. Everyone pulled out their snipers trying to complete the quest steps. This season's weapon is a scout rifle. Scouts are NOT meta, everyone is trying to complete the quest steps.

I'm enjoying it, bit more tactical than the grab shotgun and run at them. But also yes there is a push to use scouts for the Randy's throwing knife quest.

Nobody even does this it literally is still all Titan OEM Striker spam cheese with shotguns, Hand cannons fusions or snipers. One shot meta is still it scout rifles just have a little bit if relevancy now.

Edit: Not going to bother replying to people who aren't Legend this season, currently have Unbroken, or at least have a 2.5+ KA/D. These issues existed at these levels of play; just because no thumbs Johnny couldn't three tap with his Mori Ace at 40+m doesn't mean it never happened in any ELO bracket. If you want your crutch range back; use a Magnificent Howl weapon since they three tap out to around 40m with the perk active..oh wait, you likely can't get them sorry. #Buff110s #NerfTLW

Lots of people called this about 2 seasons ago... Yet they were branded as " apes " or " sweats " . Pulses didn't need a buff. The only one that did was MAYBE high impacts like broadsword. Just to make them competitive with others. Scouts didn't get a buff. They've always been good, but pulses have dominated and still do. Mix in some max range Erentils, OEM, one hit striker builds. Quickplay is AIDS. Just bring back trials and the armor and weapons that come with it. Also, add a competitive weapon and armor loot pool. They don't have to be broken, just look different.... That would lighten up the sweat fest inside quickplay. It would provide something more than stat padding.

I'll stick with my Bygones and Recluse and continue being the mediocre player I am. I do my best to stay out of wide open lanes though.

I will have to agree that pvp is in a bad state right now. I love pvp but Bungie wants us to go play that somewhere else.

PvE Player: "Destiny's PvP is trash!! I absolutely hate it!! On average I play one Crucible match per month but when i do I want to be able to use a scout rifle damn it! Bungie: "We got you fam" PvP Player: "I quite enjoy the Destiny PvP experience, but unfortunately that experience is greatly hindered by low risk high reward options like OEM, Erentil and Recluse and it would be great if something could be done about those things. Bungie: "How's this middle finger look?"

Personally I think there are just a lot of scouts out right now because of the Randy's Throwing Knife quest
