"error reading game content" but I don't have the steam_appid.txt in my destiny folder
I keep getting the error "error reading game content" when I play Destiny 2 and I've searched for the steam_appid.txt document to delete it but I didn't have it in the first place. Can someone please tell me what to do because I can't find any other fix's.

I had this same issue. Since Steam migration I started getting this crashes once a while when i was in the game but then didn´t let me play at all 'cause when I launched the game tells me to "verify integrity of game files"... I tried reinstalling the game but when I launch keeps telling me this same error of integrity... It's really annoying 'cause it takes me 14 hs to complete the download due to my poor connection... Don't want to reinstall the game another time... I've tried several things now: 1. deleting Steam_appid.txt 2. run as adminitrator 3. clean installation and non of this have been working for me... Please Bungie Help!
