That sounds like an internet issue, have you tried the steps to fix internet issues that Bungie released a while back? Also what are your internet speed up and down?

I can literally play any other game without issue. Perhaps it is a firewall issue? I enabled it when I first installed. Internet speed test 78.5 Mbps download 22.7 Mbps upload Latency: 51 ms Server: Atlanta, GA
