Here are tips if you want Bungie to REALLY hear and maybe even do for you:

1. Don't complain to Bungie on the weekends or holidays. Bungie people go to the pub or see their families. (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EBVyjaRWkAAvjIQ.jpg) 2. Bungie people prefer to use reddit over bungie.net for good reasons as its a better platform to keep track of feedback or find posts, and it's less of a salt mine compared to B.net. (Have an account on Reddit.com) 3. Don't try to criticize them or call them idiots. They are more likely to actually listen to you if you treat them with respect, and are interested in or helping them. (People usually act defensive or stubborn if you criticize them. Just don't act "company worshiping"). 4. Use what you can to get on top without making a mess. (Make rational points that are in everyone's interest, ask your close friends to upvote you, and etc)

  • I'd have to partially disagree with #3. You can't improve if you ignore criticism, be it negative or positive. We didn't get all the changes we got in Forsaken by rubbing shoulders and praising vanilla D2.

    • I just wanna drop in and remind everyone that hundreds if not thousands of people have been resectfully asking for changes on BNet and Reddit for years and Bungie hasn't listened. I say this not to be insulting but because it's the truth. Bungie is not listening to you and does not care what you want.

      • Regarding number 2: This is the official Destiny 2 forums, created by none other than Bungie themselves? Why should we have to go to an outside source to try and get our feedback heard? You’d think they’d have more open ears for this place.

Their fault for having an open connection to the Internet and letting people communicate with them on personal social media. Should have considered that before making all of these poor decisions.
2. Bungie people prefer to use reddit over bungie.net for good reasons as its a better platform to keep track of feedback or find posts, and it's less of a salt mine compared to B.net. (Have an account on Reddit.com)
It should not matter where the feedback comes from. At all. Plus, this forum came first and should be treated as the more direct platform to communicate with Bungie. The only reason it ISN'T is because the devs don't want to have a presence here due to not wanting to be told the truth of their poor decisions.
3. Don't try to criticize them or call them idiots. They are more likely to actually listen to you if you treat them with respect, and are interested in them or helping them. (People usually act defensive or stubborn if you criticize them. Just don't act "company worshiping").
This part? F*ck this part. They are a professional game developer. They are not infallible and they deserve to hear every piece of feedback from every source. What you are suggesting here is to not tell them what they are doing wrong or they are going to clam up like children, with arms crossed and a big fat pout on their faces. Forget that. I'll tell them how shit their lack of new armor for the base game vendors is all I want.
4. Use what you can to get on top without making a mess.
No vendor refresh or new armor/weapons for EDZ, Titan, Nessus, Io, Mercury, Mars, Tangled Shore, Dreaming City or the Tower. No factions. No new activity variations or events for Escalation Protocol, Black Armory Forges, Menagerie and STILL no new Infinite Forest activity outside of Holiday Events. Paid Seasonal Content (except armor and weapons) being removed after every Season. Everything that was good about Shadowkeep is pointless when the necessary shit that needs doing is not being done. Bungie need to just stop with this weird decision-making process. It started with the reboot in 2013, it happened with every release associated with D2 and it is afflicting this DLC right now. It's garbage. All of it, hot stinking garbage.

          • That’s all well and good OP but they’re so stubborn and elitist imo, ain’t nothing besides wallet voting will change the needle. There I am calling them names but they’ve chosen who for and what direction they’re doing with the game. Feedback anywhere by Bungie is just a marketing pr gimmick.

I think a lot of disrespectful comments come from a place of frustration. This is due to a lot of ongoing feedback that is either completely ignored, commented on but never actioned or when they do finally make a change, warping/twisting what was asked for into something that wasn’t what was wanted.

Wait a min, so Bungie can be disrespectful, lie, create cash grabs, don't have to put any effort creating a decent game but we have to kiss their.... just to get them to maybe pay attention?
Lmao...
• If you think Reddit is a democratic open platform... right. If you complain too much it will go down the drain and down voted to deletion.

(Have an account on Reddit.com)
If a company can not control or utilise its OWN forums, that gives little or no confidence in their abilities. Dont bother to argue, unless you would be happy being directed to a third party site by your gas/electric suppliers, or what if Microsoft ignored their own website and directed people to post on reddit? Exactly they wouldn't be a trillion dollar company. Bungie are a pale pathetic excuse for a corporate entity.

It doesn't really matter to me. I just come here to vent or comment. I don't really expect Bungie to listen to me, other than in the Help section. Realistically, they are going to do what they want to do. The only power you have is to not play the game. When players left in droves, after that crapfest D2 vanilla, they had to respond.

Number 1 Top: Be a streamer and YouTuber with so much filler you make 35 second video into 10+ minutes while having a circle jerk of preteens (who think the original Super Mario Bros is hard and Punch-Out!!! is unfair) eating up what you say and demand the game be catered to how YOU play
