Meanwhile.......
This has been requested for months while striker class is insane in crucible.
Takes to long to balance anything.
As soon as there is a loot glitch working in players favours they hit fix over night.

Patching a bug is far more complicated than changing the damage value of weapon etc. When you remove or dramatically ammend a line of code you don't know what unforseen repercussions it will have in game. For example when they patched the Menagerie chest glitch they created the pursuit/bounty infinite loading bug.

I’m no game designer but I feel like glitches may take less work when compared to balancing or buffing / nerfing Balancing could take hours of testing because you don’t know what the actual solution will look like ,whereas a glitch has one solution : Stop making x do y ,and sure you could say “Make Thundercrash better” is a solution per say but it’s not that simple It’s unfortunate yes but Bungie has openly admitted to having trouble patching glitches too that have taken longer to fix over balances (Looking at you Exodus Crash) ,I suppose it depends on the glitch really
Again,it’s hard to say for sure ,I’m not a game designer ,but I think you get what I mean
But adding a bit of damage vs bosses isn’t a huge fix. Fixing chests and stuff that works against them gets hot fixed and patched over night. Eye mask was ignored for a whole season also.
As soon as there is a loot glitch working in players favours they hit fix over night.
Well, to be fair, they do give a very select group of players just enough time to get what they want out of said glitches. 😉
