D2 pvp is garbage. Idgaf about how "it'll be fixed soon, don't worry." This shit is intolerable.
Being able to get shot behind cover because the low tick rates, NO attempt to balance classes or their subclasses, supers that can last half the match, broken ass exotics that either wreck neutral game or create an immeasurable gulf in value on supers, OHKO melees for Titans in addition to the low tick rates.
Was willing to muddle through all that shit as a Warlock, the lowest on the totem pole in pvp, to get the mountaintop and recluse, which I got to 2050 elo.
Then I load into a game where its 2 v 4.
The other team wasn't grouped up either, all solo, so the matchmaking algorithm, or net code decided "Yeah, 2 v 4. Fair. 3 v 3? Not fair."
-blam!-. That. Shit.
And D2 is obligated to have exclusive events or comp locked weapons to try and stay relevant, otherwise people would catch on that Bungie's effort in actually addressing stupid issues that have existed since D2's release is nil, and no one would continue to subject themselves to the self-inflicting, perineum cutting that is competitive pvp. Unless you're a sadist/Titan.
The classes are imbalanced. People should just admit this. I've played Titan, Hunter and Warlock, and Titans are OP, faceroll classes if you get OEM, which is why 99% of the Titans I've seen in competitive use it. When I first got OEM, I hopped into a crucible match and got a 10 spree or 15 spree with Le Monarque. I wouldn't even use my super, because I'm a good person with a soul.
And yeah, Warlock is bottom tier in terms of pvp. Check the top of the competitive crucible leaderboards if you want your no evidence based worldview destroyed.
TLDR; pvp is broken and a joke. Change my mind. Or don't. You probably won't. Was also me venting.

It happened. Again. -blam!- you, Bungie.
