No hobbit tho. Those movies trash and butchered the best book ever written
They actually did alright. Sure, too much CGI and the lame she-elf arc could have been excluded, but Peter Jackson had to rush and settle for mediocrity because the initial director quit

Trash movie is trash
Trash movie is trash
False. It was better than Endgame by far.

Nah fam
Nah fam
No. Endgame was underwhelming. I’m glad I didn’t pay to watch it.
-
Nah fam
Endgame dragged and was pretty boring and uneventful. Probably one of marvel’s worse movies.

They butchered them soooo hard. It's probably the single worst book to movie adaptation. I actually still watch them because it's quality fantasy, but I can't view it as anything better than hobbit fan fiction

It wasn’t near the quality of the LotR series, sure. However, the Hobbit wasn’t supposed to have the same tone as the LotR series in the first place.

But as far as Lore goes, they did butcher it. The fact they made three movies out of it alone was sacrilege

Their goals were to add more character development and to fit within the 3 movie trend. Similarly, there were aspects of the Lord of the Rings movies that weren’t at all in the books... “butchered” and changed to make a more compelling cinematic narrative you may say if you’re willing to be consistent.
