People say that there was 3 weeks to do it.
While that may space out the time frames that you get bored, it doesn’t change the fact that it is tedious and boring.
Nothing in the event made me choose to play destiny over anything else.

It doesn't matter how much time do you have, what matters is how much time it takes and the fact that it's a boring chore. When you have to spend 2 full days playing the game to get one armor set - that's not good at all. Most of the exotic quests take around 6 hours and I think that's the sweet spot for most of them. 20+ hours for a vanity "celebration" armor is ridiculous.

I think this is a great comment and one Bungie should listen to. It's not a celebration of our accomplishments to repeat the same activites we've already completed a bunch of times. I got my armor so I'll be ready for 2.0 but I won't look back on the event with fond memories. For me, I experienced the following: -- Teams of people AFK in gambit, crucible, and strikes -- Teammates leaving before the boss in the EAZ(Yes, I did my armor before the change to 50 bosses) -- Other guardians rushing the public events knowing that others may need heroic -- Wasted time running the same patrols I've run for years -- The same strikes I've played since launch -- The same bounties since bouties launched In summary, just A LOT more of the same old, same old. To be fair to Bungie, I did not have to do any of it, however it's a bummer the event isn't really a celebration of the guardian.

I'm gonna pass on the event this year even though I've already spent 6k dust on a glow and did all 3 sets last year (or because of it). It's just a pile of boring and tedious chores with questionable worth in the end of it.
