Is solstice of heroes fun?
In my belief it’s not fun it’s terrible and it’s nothing but a chore and it hurts my brain.

Boring grindy, and totally not worth it.

I wanted to do 1 character but ended up destroying the armor and take a break until okt1,all I do is idle farm a forge while playing other games and watch anime. I almost can't believe how much worse it is than last year, it's pretty sad actually.

I got to the blue armor on my 2nd character then deleted my character instead and deleted my 3rd D1 character. I am playing the story from the beginning of D1 thru D2 before Shadowkreep instead of grinding another set of arrmor

No. Terrible grind. I can deal with grinding....but this is just boring and monotonous.

I enjoyed until i started grinding for God rolls, 600 packages later and the first character still hasn’t gotten a shotgun/scav class item and I have aids.

The poll is very polar. I think adding options that were not so alienating would have better, more accurate results

As with most destiny activities I liked it at first, but the amount of tedious grinding you need to do made me dislike it after a few days.

My favorite is the Halloween one. :) the Knight still spoils me.

I usually like to complete stuff fully it's like a habit but it was a habit that Bungie broke for me because -blam!- doing any more than two characters.

EAZ looks cool, but any activity without set Power levels have wonky damage (enemies barely tapping me, then a Wizard insta wipes me). The rest of the grind, is all stuff I’d be doing anyways.

I wouldn't say it's down right miserable but someone needs to tell Bungie what a celebration is and is for.

The new EAZ is nice, it's just a shame Bungie made us grind the place so much that we got bored of it. Playing Destiny without invisible ceilings made a nice change, I just wish everywhere was the same.

1 ReplyGot some good things out of it. Found the last 2 exotics my titan needed, got both my least played toons to 750, got the dregen title from the 10 gambit matches, found rat king catalyst from playlist strikes orbs, finished bad juju catalyst... but yeah pretty boring stuff yo lol

I could only do one armor set and I’m done. I honestly don’t really want to grind out 2 more characters just for a legendary sparrow I already had in D1

1 ReplyThe EAZ was fun for about 2 sec until it became a jumping puzzle while avoiding Chris Kyke and getting ground slammed to the cozmodrome.

I'm mean it's stuff we'd be doing anyway i was only doing 1 character, then i got bored so i did all three, i am glad they changed the mini bosses 100 really sucked

not fun but not miserable. Just something to do that has a cool worthwhile reward at the end

I really did enjoy it. I only did it on one character though. People that are doing it for all three classes might be burning themselves out. I don’t know that I would find it fun after doing it that many times either.

Nah....and it should've been. It's easy to understand why 2018 Solstice was shit, it was a celebration of actual...shit. Forsaken was viewed as best expansion ever. 2019 Solstice shoulda coincided. I know....I know...it's fun for some. Key word is [b]some[/b]. [spoiler]Who am I kidding tho?!... I'm just a casual scrub, that has ruined the game......[/spoiler]

4 RepliesA money grabbing grind fest with no incentive. Bungie just cannot stop effing everything up. If I were a Bungie employee, I’d be actively looking for another job bc they won’t last if they don’t start giving the community what they ask for, within reason.

Would have been okay if I had just settled on one armor set, but before I knew it, I had passed the point of no return and was grinding my second and third guardian armor set. It is a chore now, but my pedal is already stuck to the metal.
