As a devout Hunter main, I can wholeheartedly say...
Liars Handshake + Combination Blow + One-Two Punch needs a nerf.
The best solution I see is to make Liars Handshake not receive a damage multiplier from Combination Blow. It’s when you have Combination Blow x3 giving a percentile boost to your melee damage that you get those ridiculous numbers and Primeval melts. Making it not work in conjunction with Combination Blow would still leave Liar’s Handshake as a very good exotic while bringing it in line.
I personally love using Liar’s Handshake One Two Punch on Minibosses in the EAZ on Arc Day. It was how I shredded through the 100 miniboss step before it was reduced to 50. On Arc Day, One Two Punch and Liars Handshake can one shot the minibosses without any stacks of Combination Blow.
The Infinite Cross Counter bug could also use some repairing.

I think it is somewhat okay since you have to stack combination blow x3 which only lasts 15 seconds, but that is too easy to warrant being able to kill raid bosses in 1 second. The build should still be very strong but probably shouldn’t be as strong as it is

I don’t have Liar’s Handshake, it’s the last Hunter exotic I need and it just won’t drop. It’ll be a shame to have it nerfed before some people even have a chance to have fun with it. Because some people actually like to have [i]fun[/i] in this game.

3 RepliesBungie already stated that in Shadowkeep they are going to change what things can stack with one another. So no need to ask for a nerf for something already in the works. Just wait and see what happens i guess.

2 RepliesNo. Dont nerf hunter anymore. It already had 5 years worth of nerfs this year. Combination blow should not stack with one two....i agree. But leave the handshake ...one two combo alone.
