They have excellent crit ttk, fantastic body ttk, and range. You cant play an auto rifle like its a hand cannon. Dont get into 1v1 peek shooting matches - instead, change positions or tactically retreat. Rob your opponent of their cover, flank, spray, win. If your opponent stays out of cover for barely more than 1 sec, youll win the gunfight with determination, superior tracking, and primarily flinch. Auto rifles are best when teamshooting as they lay down a spray of bullets from range and you can wipe out 4-5 opponents before having to reload - double that if you have kill clip proced. Use the spray to cover your teams advance. I cant tell you how important supressive fire is when the only option to the fireteam is being exposed. If anyone walks out into your spray, guess what? Theyre .5 more seconds away from death. Count to .5 in your head just once. It's lightning fast.
