I just came back to Destiny. Played Iron banner last week.
Matchmaking seemed fine to me when I solo’d que in comp.
2nd day in Comp today and I’m at 2000 points.
It felt easier honestly.
Took me 6 weeks to reach fabled first time when luna and not forgotten came out.
Now im working on grenade launcher kills quest.
That’s the only thing I’m having trouble on.

They made the grind considerably easier, I believe 16 consecutive wins can get you to fabled now.
