Glass Needles please
I really would like a way to consistently and reliably change the roll on my exotic armor pieces so I can make them work for my builds. Even if it costs a lot of materials it would be worth it so that I can perfect a build that includes an exotic armor piece in it

4 RepliesEdited by TheShadow-cali: 6/27/2019 2:46:15 AMThere is one huge problem with this. D2 doesn't have anywhere near enough rolls, 3/4 of the armor in this game are duplicates. It worked for D1 because the skill tree and the variety or rolls you actually had, that D2 does not have.

I think I remember seeing something about armor perk transmogrification (swapping armor perks) coming in shadowkeep. Glass needles were nice, but choosing the perks would be far better IMO. Fingers crossed!

I never really cared for glass needles in D1 but I would like to see a buff to rng perks so they match with the exotics. I.E. oath keeper should have a high chance of rolling with bow loader, peace keeper should have a high chance of SMG dexterity, eye of another world should roll with ashes to asset's.

I thought about that the other day, some exotics with exclusive perks are kinda useless with the fixed complementary perks, but maybe some combination would make them viable with the proper loadout

Are they not basically doing this with the update for shadowkeep? From what I could tell everything was basically a mod slot you can pick whatever you want in. Plus artifact(s).

3 RepliesDestiny has really never been about creating builds or should I say builds that have any depth to them. Simplistic builds. Sure. If you’re looking to create builds then you need to play Division 2. That game is all about your build. This game is about gun mechanics and watered down space magic.

Yes definitely. A solution must be found to the rolls, especially those in collection. As is, the collection is just a source of pain and sorrow.

Yes. It's not okay how rare it is to see another roll for the exotic you want.
