[i]Unfortunately, I do this quite often. I was born ( and grew up ) on a British colony, in the British Virgin Islands, in the Caribbean, but ‘our’ close proximity to America meant that by the time I was born, my small island had been inundated with an over saturation of American culture ( heck, our currency was the US $ ). My Education taught me to spell things one way ( the British way ), however most of the printed/written media that I consume tells me to spell things the American way. I suppose it doesn’t help that I don’t really give a -blam!-. I suppose it doesn’t help that my iPad and my Laptop are set up with American English as the default, and my phone is set up with a British English as default, so depending on what platform I use to post, my autocorrect gives me inconsistent results.[/i]
