If all they want to do is infuse up stuff, the gunsmith bounties will be more than enough, and are very easy to get done. The problem most people have with cores right now is that if they use them for infusion they can't use them for masterworks, and vise versa, and at that point, getting a lot of masterworks is something that really only the more hardcore players would be going for anyways.
