Trail mode is when the system says you do not own the game licences to play Destiny.
If you loaded the game off a disc then the licence was on the disc so you need a new clean disc and a working disc drive.
If you bought Destiny digitally then go into the game management options and download the game licences again.
If you own the game digitally but unable to download the game licences then you need to talk to Microsoft XBL support.

The game licence is the "permission to play" code or "key" to stop people copying the game. For discs this code is always on the disc and never installed onto the hard drive. Digital downloaded games and dlc have this code as part of the download. You are missing this code. Press start on Destiny to open a tab and select game management. On the left you will see "ready to download". Open that and download anything you are missing. These are just a few meg at most and quick to download. If you have problems then Microsoft is better at helping you as they can look into your account to look what has gone wrong.
