FINISH FORSAKEN CONTENT FOR ALTS
Upvote so everyone sees this. There are way too many posts from people complaining that they aren’t receiving gear on alts for the 690 boost. Literally just finish the content all the way thru forsaken. Yeah yeah you think it’s dumb that you have to complete the campaign again but that’s the content you paid for in the beginning anyways. It’s not skippable and it’s required for you to get your boost.

I know there's some lazy -blam!- who doesn't even search before complaining but that doesn't mean the problem is inexistant. For example I get my titan stuff during machinist quest and just get the chalice on abandoned quest for my warlock after completing everything. Still waiting the stuff. Bungie says it in the opulence known issue : TOP ISSUES • 690 Gear for Alternate Characters: We're investigating an issue where players don't receive 690 Gear on all of their characters. So yeah i'm sorry but you're not omniscient yet. Even if you "literally just finish the content all the way thru forsaken" you can still not receive it. And I don't really mind to do the campaign again. Different ability, weapons, cool boss fight bring some replay value. I wish all of you a good day guardians.

The 690 gear is utterly bugged: My friend and i were questing in the Tangled shore and all of a sudden he recieves the chalice + all the 690 pieces while i only recieve the chalice. (We were both lvl 46) I went on to complete everything forsaken had to offer up to unlocking the dreaming city: Still no 690 gear. I'm now 717 on that character and still no 690 gear (not that it matters but still..) Bungie stated that it is indeed bugged and they're looking into it.

1 ReplyThis supports my notion that D3 should move to a single experience, and your characters are about as interchangeable as weapons. Eliminates over repetition of things you don't like.
