“Bungie will do great things now that Activision is out of the picture.”

How about this: Activision is still funding annual pass. The updates is the Bungie made stuff. Annual pass though is the Activision and Bungie made stuff.

Edited by ElBambino: 5/19/2019 6:11:13 PMHow about this; Activision provides money, and addl studios for help, not ideas. Bungie's job was those ideas and the actual implementation and all sandbox changes is/was/and always has been Bungie. Not you OP directly. I replied to your thread.
How about this: Activision is still funding annual pass. The updates is the Bungie made stuff. Annual pass though is the Activision and Bungie made stuff.
Wait, clarify something real quick please, are you saying those statements are true? Are you saying that’s another example of things players parrot that aren’t true? It’s hard to tell if I can’t hear your tone.

Understandable. That is true. Activision is funding Bungie for the rest of annual pass and the content was thought up of and began creation etc. before they split iirc. The updates like nerfs irk if that is Bungie only or not, but this fall Bungie starts making content with their own ideas (and other studios they collaborate with).

They haven’t counted Destiny users as their own users since December when the split got announced. Since the contracts have never leaked the (really flimsy) idea that Activision has any control over anything since December is all centered around one Luke Smith quote. The quote that HM and VV would be working on season 7 as their final work on the franchise. Not sure if that quote was intended to recognize them for their help to Bungie or pre-throw them under the bus. Either way there hasn’t been any actual evidence that Activision has had any control over anything but release schedule.

Which can affect a lot. Release schedule greatly impacts the amount of content imho.

Nothing more than a fools hope that Bungie wasn’t the villains killing Destiny but they are indeed.

Fanboys now be sayin' " That statement sounded better in my head".

Member memory issues on PS3 holding them back, do they dropped PS3, now it's just as bad of not worse Member them saying D2 would have far more updates n tweaks that D1 due to an updated engine. 9 months later, no changes, I member

The engine was going to be a thing but Bungie arbitrary decided that it didn't FEEL like destiny and scrapped it , and used a modified version of the original engine, but the problem is it still takes Bungie eight hours just to fire up the engine to do minor testing, reports say that Bungie employees would literally boot it up at night and leave and come back the next day and begin testing and such .

Show me proof there was ever going to be a new engine
you can't because it doesn't exist

upgrading tiger was always the plan
