Most maps have bad spawns. Period. Thanks to the maps being built for 4v4 not 6v6.

  • Though some of the retextured d1 maps have some bad spawns and they were designed for 6v6. I think the real problem is Control. Bungie doesn't seem to know how to work the spawns in this game mode. Looking back I never really had a problem in other games with similar game modes (Domination in CoD comes to mind). Though spawn manipulation, such as Tactical Insertion, has broken a few maps. They need to get players spawning in locations, away from the pressed flag, at a faster rate when overrun. Spawning on teammates hinders this so much, I can't count the times I spawned on a teammate who was seconds from being killed by a super only to be that players next victim before I even have a chance to react. Not to mention the times I've literally spawned in front of an enemy's gunfire (bonus points if that enemy was the one that killed me last). A lot of the maps have some pretty lopsided spawns as well. Some A and C flags seem to have spawns that are a bit closer to B than their counterpart.

  • Thank you! I've been saying this since they switched to 6v6. Comp has less spawn problems because the maps are designed for the 4v4 modes.
