The CHICKEN error occurs when accessing an older version of Destiny after a new update has become available. In order to resolve CHICKEN errors, you must update to the latest version.

Thanks for reaching back out, but the chicken error is random. I’ll play for one day then the next day get the chicken error, or the game won’t start. Or on the same day I’ll be playing, get off, and then when I get back load to a chicken error. If not that then when I start the game I have to verify the game content, like when I first got the game.

I have tried nearly all of the troubleshooting steps I could find on the chicken error code, but only work between times I play.
