I rip off one of the two doors (you made it sound like a pair of double doors the way it opened).
Carrying it with me, I enter.

Carrying it with me, I enter.
“You can’t do this,” the half door I’m carrying declares. I drop it on the ground, face down. I set fire to one aisle of shelves and push them over. Like dominos, each tipping over and setting fire to the next. I pick up the half demon door and let it watch...
The door split in half and separated like automatic or sliding doors, so you can't actually get a grip on it.

The door split in half and separated like automatic or sliding doors, so you can't actually get a grip on it.

You can still remove automatic/sliding doors... just like how they are installed separately or each at a time... and you can slide them manually should the programming/power goes out.
I said it moved like them, it's a huge stone door and they separated into the sides of the door and remain unmoved

I'd say about 12ft tall

Pffft... that’s not huge... I could easily move doors that size.
Dude, I'm gonna be honest with you...your character is just no fun for anyone else at the table to play with.

Edited by The Dragon: 2/27/2019 7:08:05 PM
Dude, I'm gonna be honest with you...your character is just no fun for anyone else at the table to play with.
The rules or expectations or parameters have not yet been established. There is no established consistency. It is bad collaborative writing (as you know as an experienced D&D player), to hand wave the rules or possibilities or impossibilities on the basis of “because I said so.” Literally every thread of this post can be taken as a timeline derivative. I don’t mind playing a less potent version of myself, but the OP gave no reason for me to do so, nor is willing to adapt and push the limits of his creativity.

As an experienced D&D player, I've heard similar defenses. It's not just about your characters powerlevel, it's your general attitude aswell. But I used that mostly as a reference you'd get. This is more like playground role-playing and nobody wants to play with Eric Cartman from South Park.

It isn’t enjoyable to play with someone who changes the non-established rules at their convenience. If OP did not expect to encounter such power, or unforeseen circumstances, it is also interesting to explore that/ those possibilities in how they would play out.
