Just had an idea but i'm by no means knowledgeable enough to understand the deep details of how matchmaking works but what if there was an option during matchmaking where you could extend the timer to try and find more Guardians or if you don't extend the timer it just loads you in solo like it currently does #whatisforgematchmakinganyways?
