I have a problem with the problem since I bought the expansions, I wanted to know if I can solve my problem, because I have formatted my computer 3 times, I reinstalled the drivers and nothing solved bungie solves this, every day I am losing experience of the game with this runtime detected failure or operational locking error broccoli
-
Hey Bungie, Yep, they are. All my drivers are up to date! Several people are experiencing the same issues in my clan as well. Everyone who has a 1080 Ti.
-
Do you use Vsync when playing? Have you checked for any potential memory issues, by chance? (And if you've already done any other troubleshooting, feel free to let me know; I don't want to suggest something you've already done.)
-
Edited by Myth: 1/16/2019 8:09:31 PMI usually play with Vsync off but I limited by frames to 72 for Destiny 2 and that seems to have reduced the crashes but it still happens atleast 1-2 times a day. What exactly do you mean by memory issues. Edit - How do I check if im having memory issues?
-
Here's a guide on how to check!
(1) Save all work as your computer will need to restart during this process. (2) Press Windows Key + S at the same time. (3) Type "Windows Memory Diagnostic" without the quotations and press Enter. (4) Select "Restart Now and Check for Problems"
Hi Bungie, I ran the windows memory diagnostic, it reported no errors! I have a screenshot if you need it! What do I try next?
-
Could you please run a DXDiag report and share the results?
1. To find this information, press (Windows Key + R) to bring up the Run dialog box, enter this command “dxdiag”, no quotation marks. 2. Click on “save all information”. • a) Save the file to a location you can easily find. • b) Open the saved file to view the report. 3. Copy text from saved file to preferred third-party text dump website (i.e. PasteBin, DumpTxt) and share link here.
Hi Bungie, I am ready to troubleshoot some more, have you found anything useful from the dxdiag report?
-
Apologies for the delay in responses. Did the BROCCOLI errors start the moment you started using the 1080?
-
Yep! I had no errors previously when I had an AMD Radeon R9 390. It was when I started using the 1080Ti.
-
I have since, updated my audio driver after googling ATKEX_cmd.exe and I have updated my BIOS to the latest version - ASUS H170 PRO GAMING. I booted the game again - turned vsync off - turned off framerate cap in game and played alright for 10 min and then it booted me out again giving me the same broccoli error. :( Next step is to turn on vsync and turn framerate cap on in game and try again. If you find something useful in the dxdiag information, please please let me know! :)

Edited by Murtag: 6/1/2019 8:56:41 PMTry underclocking, worked for me. It seems that the game hates running at high clock speeds. I did from the base clock, -25 gpu and -100 memory clock.
