I agree with one thing:
STREAMERS ARE MAKING THE MOST INTERESTING CONTENT TOO HARDCORE FOR US WHO HAVE A REAL JOB IN REAL LIFE.
guess what, we are 95% of the player population.
We're not asking to make Destiny casual or for casual.
We're asking Bungie to allow us to play ALL THE CONTENT THAT WE PAY FOR.
I do not have 10 hours per day for destiny.
I should be able to start any activity, including the raid, on day one (regardless of my light level) just because i paid for it. It's as simple as that. I might not be able to finish it, or make a lot of damage. but still i paid for it, so it should be accessible and attainable with a lot of skills (not time).
Skill should be the main factor making you climb your way up to the top. Not time.
Take Fortnite as an example.

That's not how a reward system works.
-
Well. That's how it did work on D1. I have more than 1800 hours on D1, because the game had a real vision. When we used to play Trials of Osiris, only your skills would allow to get Flawless. It was super easy to get to max light. And that was FINE for EVERYONE. Even streamers did not care about light level. Now they do 24h streams and farm PUBLIC EVENTS ??? Is this the type of game you want for Destiny 3 ? Be realistic
-
In D1 Trials of Osiris did indeed require skill, but level advantages were present, even though they were fairly negligible. In raids though, you could load in 3 levels(VoG & CE) and 30 light(TTK & WoTM) below the recommend. My point is that just because you paid for something, that doesn’t entitle you to access to it on day one. Some things require effort to unlock.
-
That's your opinion. Not mine. The level progression of Anthem is better.
-
I refeered specifically to your comment aabout being able to play everything day 1. That's not how gaming works. Ever heared the word "overfeeding"? If a game bombs you with activities you feel overwhelmed. You don't know wherw to start and that will ruin the game for the most players.
-
You still didn't understand a word about what I said. Waste of time.
-
No. I have just a different point of view
-
Lmfaoooo and you lost all credibility when you used fortnite as an example. The thing is you do have every opportunity to play everything in the game if you put in a tiny amount of effort. Sorry you cant buy all the battle pass tiers on day one lmfao
-
BTW - You spent 1209h on D2.

Edited by Emperor Salty: 1/11/2019 11:59:11 AMWhich means? I go to college and work. I play d2 when I'm not doing those things lol. Was that meant to be an insult or something because it was a pretty bad one. Hey nobody is stopping you from going and having fun on fortnite which is in a completely different genre of games entirely. Clearly this genre of games apparently aren't for you.
-
Not an insult. Just saying, as a student, you have almost as much time as a streamer to put into the game. We, the majority of Destiny players, do not. Because we have extra responsibilities (children, work responsibilities, businesses...)
-
Tiny amount ? For you it is probably a tiny effort, because your real life is empty. Sorry but to be able to play and enjoy Scourge... you need to climb your way up to 625 (which would take you more 20 hours on the first week). I finished scourge of the past on the first week, while only streamers and unemployed could finish it on day one. On Fortnite, you just start the game and play. I never bought any battle pass on Fortnite, but could still enjoy the game and had more fun on Fortnite that Destiny 2. Why ? Because it's fresh, innovative and don't require you to grind for tens of hours to be able to start an activity. And, don't require you to pay for locked content.

Two differant styles of shooters. So you can't really compare them. Also Destiny is built around progression, building up your light and gaining better loot. The actual Fortnite game costs £32.99.
-
Not true. Destiny is comprised of PVE and PVP. There's no light progression in PVP. Fortnite is completely free to play, and is a different type of game. It is a Battle Royale. Indeed, I should have said "Take EPIC Games as an example".
-
There is light and loot progression in both PvP and PvE in Destiny. As for Fortnite, only the battle royal mode is free. Not the actual game, which is £32.99.
-
In case you didn't know, there's no level advantages in the Crucible.
-
Iron banner had power level advantage activated. Plus you can still raise your power and get better weapons in normal PvP. So that's still progressing in the game.
-
You're saying obvious things, everyone knows. You don't understand my message. And I'm not used to argue with PVE players, on PVP. FYI - you have a 0.8 KD on PVP.
-
I know I'm rubbish at PvP. Still doesn't take away that there is game progression in PvE and PvP. So my point stands, that Destiny and Fortnite are totally differant games. It's odd that when you lose an argument you bring up in game stats. Which doesn't help you in any way.
-
Did I say Fortnite and Destiny are the same ???? I said Bungie should take example on Fortnite (meaning they should take example on EPIC Games). On what ? On the VISION. What's the VISION ? > Freshness > Innovation > Updates > Real content > Listen to player feedback (meaning the real player base. not streamers) On and On...
-
Oh kay. No I don't want Bungie to follow Epic games. Because I still want to play the whole game and not just one mode in it. Plus I still say you can't compare the two games because they are so different.
-
FYI - There are more PVP modes in Fortnite than Destiny. You can compare any game. It just depends on the criteria you're chosing. Fortnite makes more money than Destiny. Here, I just compared them.
-
Name the game modes?
