You can't get quest exotics.
You can't get a exotics for a class different than the one you used to get the fated engram

I know i cant get quest exotics, but nowhere is it stated within the engram that you cant get an exotic that is for another class, just that if there is one that isnt within your collection you will get it. Not saying your not correct, just saying its pretty misleading that it is the way that it is if thats the case :/

You can't get armor for another class from exotics that drop or from legendary engrams, fated engrams are no different. If you want Titan armor, use your Titan.

I guess im too used to how D1 worked, I actually havent caught on to that fact. Still thought you could recieve an exotic for another class. Thanks for the clarification :)

That was changed early in destiny 1, like in year one.

Im pretty sure it wasnt, i think i remember getting the stag on my hunter. It wouldnt happen often but from time to time i would get another class exotic
