First and foremost all Crucible pinnacle weapons will now require legend glory rank. Tiers will match up with tiers only. If players with different tiers match up they’ll be thrown into the highest tier on their team. Pinnacle weapons can only be used in tier 1. Tier 1: Best pvp players. Top 10% in crucible. In tier 1 players will have doubled drop rates for Quickplay modes for all drops and win streaks increase all drop rates. Valor resets guarantee crucible catalyst and exotic drop that you don’t have. Any crucible quests will have increased progression. Comp legend rank can only be reached as a tier 1 player. Tier 2: Average players. Top 11-40% in crucible. Tier 2 will work how crucible does now. Nothing new. Would need to get to tier one for pinnacle weapons. Tier 3: Worst players. Top 41-100% players. Tier 3 halves progression on all crucible quests and bounties. Half drop rates on all crucible drops with no powerful gear on valor rank ups or resets. With this there will be no matchmaking that’ll pit pinnacle weapon users against players who can’t get them. They’ll be no “pvp gods” against people with “lives”. Everything will be fine and dandy while still giving an incentive to get better while rewarding the best for being the best. Everybody wins... only people that won’t like this are the tier 2-3 players that want the best pvp stuff while avoiding the best players to get it... in short... babies...
