    Um, no? I literally just checked every day from the last week on PC (where the sweat scene is,) and voidwalker is .1kd or higher than the next highest class. Sentinel had higher winrate on one day. So statistically Novawarp is higher even on a single day basis, but either way snapshotting one day is not the proper way to view metrics. You need a bigger sample size.

  • Very well, where is the rest of the information; what’s the current population of the PvP, how many are playing each class, how many are playing each subclass, how many playing on each tree? You’ve pulled incomplete information in an attempt to validate your preconceived opinion, however with the most important part of those statistics being conveniently omitted the rest don’t really mean anything.

  • You can literally check the popularity of class and see that Novawarp is also the most popular. Let me further breakdown the argument for you. Average KD/KDA Analysis: ----- The average KD in destiny is slightly below 1.0 per sandbox team interviews. The the average KDA is around or below where the other highest played class is, the blade barrage/gunslinger somewhere between 1.3-1.4. The average of lock is 1.55, you can plainly see that lock in general is above the player average KDA by a significant margin. A very significant margin. We are looking at a discrepancy of about .15-.25. So your average lock player is .15-.25 KDA better due to class selection alone. Balance wise, being 20% more effective than the average from just class selection is a major balance issue. Conclusion: ----- This is definitely a huge disparity. If you think it is ok for people to instantly be 20% more effective than average by just choosing to play novawarp, you are living outside of the scope of reality. Additional Arguments on sample size and subclass player density: ----- The population does not change anything, as the population would have to shrink to very alarming levels to actually affect information pooled from the sample. Furthermore, if you want to argue that the other voidlock specs are having effect on the average, then they would have to be stronger than novawarp to support your argument that novawarp is balanced. This would mean the other specs are extremely out of balance, which is unlikely based on old evidence. It is far more likely that the old specs are performing equal too or less than novawarp. As such, depending on subtree player density, is having no effect to or is lowering the average of voidwalker as a whole. This would mean novalock would have stats equal to or greater than what it has now if that subsection of players was removed. Which would further my argument that novalock is not balance. It is overpowered by a significant margin. I don't know how they can fix it, but I hope they do not over nerf. A lot of my friends really enjoy the spec, jumps, and other tools. I would hate for the class to be gutted.

  • Population changes a lot, first if you a hundred people and only ten of them are playing as one class general performance values aren’t going to reflect the same as forty people from the same sample group playing a different class. In regards to different trees in the same subclasses if it would have an impact on how any given subclass’s statistics are affected in both a positive or negative fashion. Population can again be brought to argument simply on the grounds that the larger the sample size the more relevant the deviation, and 5% deviation among ten people isn’t same as among a hundred, a thousand, or a million.
