[b]Hello Guardians![/b] We have been working on this project for almost a year, and we are pleased to announce that it is now ready to open up to the public. We are inviting players to participate in a beta playtest of the Destiny Tabletop RPG. https://www.destinytabletoprpg.com/ [b]What is Destiny Tabletop RPG?[/b] The Destiny Tabletop Roleplaying Game (Destiny:TTRPG) is a free roleplaying game system that is based off of the video game series Destiny that was created by Bungie®. In this fan-made Tabletop RPG inspired by the Destiny series, players play through the lives of Guardians as they adventure through the solar system defending the last of mankind from Minions of The Darkness. Destiny:TTRPG was built from the ground up for the Destiny universe. This unique system focuses on depth over complexity to allow for players of all experience levels to enjoy this game. New players will find this easy to pick up as they do not need to have experience with the Destiny universe or other roleplaying systems in order to pick up a character sheet and have a blast exploring the darkest parts of our solar system. Experienced players, on the other hand, will find that the breadth of strategy and the meaningful choices offer interesting gameplay encounters. This simple-yet-deep approach means less time in the books and more time making memories with your Fireteam. However, we won't stop there. As Destiny grows and expands, so will Destiny:TTRPG. We will continue making free expansions and updates to this system to include new exotic weapons, enemy types, and locations. There will also be free adventure modules called 'Strikes' and 'Campaigns'. A 'Strike' is a single story that takes around 4 hours and is meant to be played in 1 to 2 game sessions. A 'Campaign' is a longer adventure that is meant to be played over many game sessions, usually around 8 game sessions. These will be released on our website regularly after Destiny:TTRPG launches. [b]Where do I sign up to playtest?[/b] We have all of the information and a signup form on our [url=https://www.destinytabletoprpg.com/#join-playtest]website[/url]. Additionally, all players are invited to join our [url=https://discord.gg/EsWFSdP]Discord server[/url]. Please note that to join in a playtest of the game, it is mandatory that you must first have a Discord account. After you get in contact with us, we will provide further instructions. Basically, you will be given access to a beta version of the core rulebook's manuscript. We will then ask you to read a short introduction to prepare you for the game and you get to decide if you want to use a pre-generated character sheet or if you would like to build your own using the step-by-step instructions in the core rulebook.
