It’s already pretty damn good. It’s one of the best things to take out the lanterns in the pools raid encounter and does a lot of boss damage too.

Big deal it's good in one raid checkpoint. Meanwhile hunters and warlocks are king in literally everything else. Nighthawk literally doubles sunbreaker boss damage, not to mention it gives orbs and it's faster. It's extrenely potent in: -Calus -Dogs -argos -Val Cauror -Final Ep bosses. Yeah sunbreaker has good damage, but I'm not going to choose a sunbreaker over a nighthawk hunter. However it is nice that sunbreaker has decent add clearing potential along with good boss damage. :)

Eh, it still does really good damage to Calus. Plus, melting point on Dogs is helpful. Not necessary, but helpful. It’s a good class. Just not totally necessary for raid runs.
