My clan was running a guided raid and someone dropped out prior to the first encounter so I joined to try to fill out the raid. After we did all of the encounters, I was a little surprised to not have received the emblem and aura. My assumption is that you have to be a member of the team who initiated the group, but I do feel that teaching someone the new raid and wiping for a couple hours should probably still give me the emblem. That said, it isn't exactly why I did the raid. And I was pumped to hear how excited the guy getting help with the raid was to finish it.
