Are Exotic Catalysts Capped at 3 Per Week?
Does anyone have more than 3 right now? I got Crimson, Tractor Cannon, and Darci just from fooling around the first day or two of release. Since then I've been grinding out Heroic Strikes, Heroic Adventures, and Crucible like crazy and nothing else is dropping.

It’s just RNG. I’ve only gotten the Crimson Catalyst, and I hate the Crimson. Yes I know it got buffed, but the whole burst hand cannon thing doesn’t really resonate with me.

I’ve had Tractor Cannon drop from an Acolyte.....That’s about it for me. I did get the Huckleberry from Xur’s engram though.

Definitely not capped at 3 per week. I got catalysts for Vigilance Wing, D.A.R.C.I, Jade Rabbit and Worldline Zero last week. I don't expect to get any more until July as that's my RNG used up. I completed the warmind campaign three times (once per character, got the Worldline catalyst on last run through), did the flashpoint x3, call to arms x3 (and not 1 crucible game more, but sure this is where I got VW and JR catalysts) and then activities on Mars (sure this is where Darci cat dropped) like the data point collecting. No nightfall, no heroic strikes, no raid or trials. -
you have more than 90% of the community you will be ok.

I played a tonne last week. Got the boop gun (tractor cannon) one on Wednesday and then the darci one on Sunday. No cap, just rng

I haven't got any yet. I feel the drop rate for the catalysts should be increased a little bit if you're using the gun (if you're using Crimson, the chance of receiving the catalyst for it goes up a bit).

i didnt want to risk it with the catalysts. i have at least 4 (borealis, darci, tractor cannon, crimson) and my reccomendation is to do high level activities and hope you get a drop. from there i recommend switching to that exotic and trying to max out the stat. by using the weapon and maxing the stat it tells the game you no longer have to grind so it puts them in the loot pool. i was so glad when i got the crimson. right now I'm working on crimson/darci which both need me to get precision kills so i wonder if it can be related to activity?

I got 4, but I'm on the same page as you with thinking they're capped. I got your 3 and borealis right off like first 2 days and didn't see another one after that. Raided 6 times, did the nightfalls, about 15 heroics, even ran prestige nightfall for a few hundred kills just to see if I could get something. Maybe it is 4 on the PvE side and then more on PvP. I only ran enough for the call to arms milestone and not one match more.
