The best game mode in D1! Those corner camping foks were so lost! Loved how much that actually evened the playing field!

I don't know if I'd call it the best gamemode, but I'd welcome the change of pace it'd provide. So many playstyles wouldn't be effective at all, while others would thrive.

I may have been a little over enthusiastic there but it really did provide that change of pace you mentioned. I was always better with the radar gone. This shit they are doing with the hunter boots in d2 is not the same thing. Lol

Edited by DiZ: 2/28/2018 1:33:44 AMI don't mind playing without radar, or even aim assist, as long as we're always playing under those conditions. Invis handicaps players because it messes with basic muscle memory. You can be prepared for it all you want, but when you're used to recoil control and retilcle adjustment with aim assist, and then that suddenly changes, it's difficult for most to cope with. At least without a spray weapon, which are already dominant(save for PC), or melee if they're up close. The only practice you can really make is having yourself and a friend load up and shoot each other to improve your accuracy without aim assist.

I agree with all of this. I have my aim assist off because it’s more of a hinderance than anything else. Having a map can be the same way as well. I’ve died a fair amount focusing too much on that as well.

How have you turned it off? Are you on PC? Because to my knowledge, there's no way to accomplish that on console save for the use of 3rd party software. I know Black Ops 2 had that as an option, but I see no such thing available in Destiny.

You have to go through the settings menu. I believe it’s off by default on my ps4 though.
-
I still don't see it as an option. Maybe you've confused it with something else?

I’ll take a pic and so you can see what I’m talking about.
