Tower Talk: It's time for me to somewhat get real here people, ha ha I know it's a video game. And first of all, no I'm not Rick Valassi the radio DJ, some people have been asking that. But it's time to wake up America. The republicans are trying to sway the Vex into forging an alliance… Ok, seriously! Anyway, I've played the first destiny on the PS3 and PS4, leveled up all three characters, sometimes twice just from boredom. I was so excited for Destiny 2 when it came out (my wife, not so excited), but then I hit a wall and fell out with the game from all the new changes, limited crucible maps… I gave up. Then, I had some friends who play on XBOX and they swayed me to join up and then I had to start all over again on a new platform. But, I started to fall in love with the game again and re-realized why the game was so fun. Then my wife left me… (just kidding). The game play, the lore, the character development is amazing and very few games get this right. The fan base is great, playing with gamers who love this game and have fun is what it's all about. "Fun" and "Entertainment" is what we lose when we start to treat this like a job. Especially a job with very little options and no real room for advancement in the direction the gamers want to go. Why can't the story of the game go further than a few sentences? Those areas you find to investigate… all you get is two sentences of a mystery and no conclusion. Did the creators of this game watch a lot of the "Lost" TV series? Cause that's the direction I feel it's going in. Bring back heavy ammo purchases. Create more exotics. Stop making the players wait, just push out some new content. You owe us. I've purchased a small fortune of "silver" in the tower (don't tell my wife).. thinking I was going to get some cool helpful items… I got hosed! Here's a good question, why is the infinite forest not so infinite? Solutions: (1) Introduce Legacy Strikes revising all the old strikes from Destiny 1, (2) please bring back Omnigul. (3) Make the raids open to all players playing individually like public events, if a player leaves then he/she is penalized (too easy). (4) Hand out more heavy ammo in the crucible, I'm sick and tired of teammates fighting over it or pushing other players away from the ammo before it appears. Offer more unique weapons and options for character building. (5) introduce a feature where you can share weapons with teammates or random people. (6) the possibilities are endless with this game. I did have a lot of faith with creators but after the last installment… not so much. It was some really lazy last-minute stuff. I have a lot of ideas Destiny 2 and if you every need help, just ask the people, the gamers, the fans…. We are here to help.

In the finite forest

Paragraphs shouldn’t be an infinite forest.
-
More like infinite bore-est.
-
OK, We get it; You hate paragraphs.

<The Infinite Forest itself would be fine if you could access it through patrol and patrol the past, future, and simulant present. Then add public events and patrol missions. I want a past version of the Lighthouse area and I want to see the entire Lighthouse area in the future.>

Infinite Forest was pathetic, it's a perfect excuse to recycle any of the base game content as rooms for randomly generated dungeons but they didn't bother. Take the area where you fight alongside Zavala, plop that into the infinite forest and have it link in with additional areas randomly generated it could be great fun

Paragraphs and line breaks are your friends....
-
I'd like to see spires that take us to horde maps in places like dark future Mercury, past Mercury, dark future Mars, dark future Venus, etc. POE on steroids.
-
The infinite forest was OK to play through ONCE!

I was thoroughly amazed to find out that, with a name like “infinite forest”, it isn’t even remotely infinite. In fact, it’s quite small, and annoying. So much potential to be another end-game area. Infinite waves of enemies like COD zombies or such. But no, it’s just a small intro area to a lackluster strike boss fight.

Infinite forest is a boring, boring, boring part of the game. They could have done much more with it but instead they got lazy just like they did with the rest of the game...

Break this text blob up and I'll read it. I will agree that forest is a massive missed opportunity.

Edited by Architect Mind: 2/25/2018 6:35:22 PMYeah it's pretty crazy if you think about different shows and movies like black mirror, twilight zone, pretty much anything jj Abrams touches. ...our character is Rick, before he decided to just be rick.
